Nintendo DSi White Reviews #1

The Nintendo DSi White is a nice step in the evolution of Nintendo's handheld. It has a lot of new features that can go a long way. Even DS Lite owners might want to consider updating at some point, but it still stands: if you're content with your DS Lite or original DS you don't have to get it. It's certainly worth considering, though.

Positives about the White DSi:

+Bigger and slightly brighter screen
+New interface is easy to navigate
+DSi Ware is a nice implementation
+Digital camera to take photos with
+Internal memory and SD card slot are nice for storing data
+Downloaded games are inexpensive and the service has a lot of potential

Negatives about the DSi White:

-Photos taken on camera only really look good on the DSi screen
-Shorter battery life
-Web browser isn't the greatest
-The lack of a GBA slot means you can't play GBA games, use some of the DS Lite's accessories (such as a rumble pack) and makes some games like Guitar Hero World Tour virtually unplayable

In the end some may wonder if the upgrade is worth it. It's a bit more expensive than the DS Lite and doesn't have a GBA slot and a shorter battery life. However, you are getting some nice extra features, and with Nintendo planning to implement them in some of their games in the future, it's at least worth consideration. DS Lite owners may not need to upgrade immediately, but in the future it might be worth considering. If you don't own a DS at all, the DSi is probably the best bet.

The screen is improved and is much better plus it has 5 brightness so its brighter. It has the 2 cameras which is inside and outside of the dsi there are 0.3mp and it has 11 lens which u can deform pictures but frames add mario hat or u can put glasses all of that crazy stuff etc but u can take real pictures to

The console has a different design its not anymore glossy its matte so no more finger prints, and i got say it feels much better

Also it is just little bigger than ds lite but u feel more comfortable if u have big hands lol

But it lacks the gba slot...but in the future they will put the gba games on dsi were which i will talk about..

They have added the dsi were where u can download games and application for your dsi and go on the internet for free but you have to be connected on wifi

Overall the hand console itself it much better and much liter im happy that i have bought this console and i got to say that i really like this dsi i give it 9.5

They could have improved on dsi to have the internet without the wifi just like on the iphone

I have owned my DSi for all of 35 mins and alreaddy am completely in love with it, the sound is better the screens are bigger and brighter, it has cool sound effects, fancy easy to use menus, and the camera ap effects are hilarious, however i was quite upset to find that they have removed the GBA game pack slot :( not that i have any games for it but i do have both of the guitar hero games that require the slot! its not as good on the DS as on a tv screen, but it's still pretty fun on the go. so now i will have to keep my old DS also just for that one game.

Superior and superb console over all but was it really necessary to get rid of the GBA game pack slot? never the less i suggest its a great buy and deffinately worth it, especialy if you don't use old games. buy it, it's beautiful and you know it!
